Thanksgiving and Inventors

I had this idea a few days ago about Thanksgiving. We usually give prayer and thanks to the Almighty for food and shelter, clothes and warm friends and good times.

This Thanksgiving I include the inventors of great inventions such as.

Candido Jacuzzi

Jacuzzi (who would have thought?)

Jack S. Kilby Microchip

King Camp Gillette (safety razor)

John Bardeen, Walter Brattain, and William Shockley Transistor

Jacob Perkins

Refrigerator

And so forth.

I’ve made a game of it and you can too*. Ask anyone at Thanksgiving, who invented these or similar ones taking into account the persons age and education, so it doesn’t make them uncomfortable. For example: if it’s a young girl you might start with the inventor of the Safety razor and not refrigerator. If It’s a man over the age of 21 and educated, you might go for microchip, etc. You get the idea. Takes a little thought.
